Boxing class with Aimee.
Aimee and I went to a free boxing class today. I am exhausted but it was so much fun. I’m pretty proud of myself because I drove myself to the train station and went to a workout class (that part wasn’t so bad when you have a friend) and then drove myself back home from the station. I love working out and my abs feel so good but tired. We’ve been wanting to do this since last year and I can’t believe we did it a few days before I move!
This is perfect timing to workout for two reasons. One, because it’s the new year so new goals and two, this last year I learned that if I work out every other day or everyday my period is less heavy and painful. This has been something I’ve had to deal with since senior year of high school. It makes sense because that was the first year I stopped working out (no more gym.) I pretty much never gain weight so I thought I never had to work out but last semester when I discovered working out was fun and helped with my stress of school and work I kept at it. I worked out every other day for a month and then a week leading up to my period everyday. My period was less painful and heavy.
I have endometriosis and finding out that my periods can stop around three days and not have to have ibuprofen all the time for nine days is a crazy! The next month after that experiment was finals and stress of work so I gave up working out and it was back to a normal painful period. I learned some more exercises and hopefully it will give me more motivation!
I only took a video at the gym today for my 1 second a day video but here are some pictures of Prague from this summer because I miss traveling.
